Saal Digital - A Quick Photobook Review

I have had my Saal Digital photobook now for a few days and it’s been a pleasure to see my photographs printed in a very high-quality book. The book was printed using the pro matt paper which looks good. However most of my photographs are landscape images with moderately saturated colours, particularly of dawn and dusk. If I were to produce another book these images may look better using a glossier paper. Still, the photographs are rich and punchy but most importantly the colours are accurate. The free editing software was easy and quick to download and install and very simple to use especially if you use the auto layout function. However, I’d recommend spending the extra time to design a layout yourself. One thing I would also mention is that having your images print ready beforehand makes the process much quicker. The order to delivery time was quick but the first copy arrived with a couple of printing errors. Although I was a little disappointed I figured sometimes these things do happen. What is important is how these kinds of matters are rectified and Saal Digital customer services dealt with this issue extremely quickly and professionally and within 3 days I was looking at another beautiful, and this time perfect, copy of my photobook over a cup of coffee.
